Human: Made some modifications to the Monoprice MP Select Mini 3D Printer glass bed Clips by tselling (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1845758) to fit the new Y axis rail design of the MP Select Mini and add more hold-down effort to the clips. Like the original, these are designed for a 130mm x 130mm x 3mm glass plate. Print out a Z-axis shim first and install it before trying to use a glass plate. The newer revision of the MP Select Mini has changed the Y axis rail design so that the original design for these clips now gets in the way of the rail mount. This remixed set includes modified versions of the left-side clips to provide enough clearance and eliminate this interference completely. There is no interference on the right side. This remixed set also includes a 0.5mm bevel overhang on all clips, which works well with glass where the edges are slightly beveled and helps hold the glass plate to the aluminum bed better. This worked better for me as my aluminum bed warped enough to make the glass rock a little, causing all bed leveling to go out of control. UPDATE 3/29: New version "C" (Top of the file list) has been added. The design was modified to provide more stability on left-side clips. I think this version looks better so I'm using it on all sides now, which means there are only two different files to use. Use the same one on opposite corners. Also included source SketchUp files for the new version C so anyone can modify them for themselves. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.13125mm Infill: 100% Notes: I printed these in PLA and they are working okay, but if you are printing ABS or other high-temp materials, I'd recommend not using PLA as homing the print head will dab a little bit of the printing material onto the edge of the front-left clip. PLA UPDATE: After using the original PLA versions for about a month, the PLA has started to warp, causing the clip to become loose. If using the heated bed frequently, I recommend printing these in ABS or other material suitable for repeated heating and cooling. Recommend supports as they are needed for the clips that attach to the underside of the print bed frame.
