MP Select Mini E3D Hotend Adapter

A Replacement Hotend Adapter by: Brian Benchoff Every hotend will eventually wear out. They are consumable parts, designed to last for a certain period. Even after 100 hours of continuous printing, there's no indication that the hotend on the MP Mini printer won't perform just as well as any other hotend. Unfortunately, direct replacements for the hotend are not readily available. If you want to replace it, you'll have to spend an additional $200 on a new printer. It makes little sense to spend $200 on a replacement hotend, and any company that forces this policy on consumers will likely go out of business quickly. If you purchase this printer, I recommend printing the adapter first thing. I designed an OpenSCAD adapter that mounts an E3D hotend onto the MP Mini printer's X carriage. It bolts directly in place. Is it perfect? No, but if you print this adapter, you'll be able to create a better one with your new hotend. Simply print another adapter and attach it to the back of your printer. You'll thank me later for the convenience.
