To install the auxillary fan nozzle, simply run a pair of wires from the motherboard main power source up through the Z tower, alongside the other crucial print head wires. For added convenience, a small switch has been thoughtfully positioned on the side of the fan, allowing you to effortlessly turn off the cooling system when needed. The installation process requires only minor soldering and disassembly of the Z tower to run the necessary wires. Don't worry – it's a breeze! The mod is straightforward and won't take up much of your time. When printing this auxillary fan nozzle, feel free to orient it however you like, as its design allows for maximum flexibility. To install it successfully, you'll need to remove the x belt tensioner spring, as it will interfere with the nozzle's internal structure. I've found that removing the spring and adding a spacer inside the loop where the belt catches creates perfect tension without any issues. To mount the fan nozzle securely to the carriage, simply use a small amount of hot glue and then drive a screw through into the carrier block. The included 123d design files feature a modified x carriage with integrated cooling block – just remember that these other parts are not entirely accurate, so don't attempt to print them as replacements for your original x carriage.
