I got a Monoprice Select Mini and noticed it heated up inside during long prints because it lacks fans. I was unhappy with all the other side panel mods and had only a 50x15mm blower on hand, so I made my own. This fan is affordable, costing me $1.25, and moves a significant amount of air. Searching for "50mm 12v blower" yields many results for this exact fan. The design directs air at the hot parts of the board, causing the heat-sinks on my controller board to stay near room temperature. The fan attaches securely without needing any fasteners. A bonus feature is a built-in fan guard that maximizes airflow. It can be attached using double-stick tape.
