MP Select Mini 3mm Y-Axis Spacer

This is a 3mm spacer designed to attach to the carriage of the MP Select Mini (verified on the v2) to trigger the y axis endstop with the nozzle positioned farther back. This modification is essential if the nozzle head is no longer sitting over the build surface, such as when replacing the hotend with an authentic e3d v6. The original spacer design was improved upon by adding stability in the x and z axes. The new design relocates the clip above the carriage to enhance stability, eliminating reliance on friction to keep the piece from falling or moving around the carriage face. Installation requires: - Turning off the printer - Moving the y-axis carriage forward - Placing the spacer onto the carriage with the "3" facing forward - Pushing the spacer up until it sits on top of the carriage - Adjusting in the x axis to align with the Y-axis endstop - Turning on the 3d printer - Setting to home axes - Verifying that the nozzle now rests above the print surface While the original design was created using TinkerCad, this improved version was designed using OnShape.
