I take all the credit for combining two great designs. After using FDM_Guru's base design to boost print reliability tenfold for me, the connection mechanism started to give me a headache. I worked on a slight modification to widen the lugs initially, and that helped significantly. Looking for a continued refactor, I came across this clip (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1807912) that inspired me, although it worked okay. However, I found another shroud design with inbuilt horizontal clips. I took both designs and merged them together in <a href="http://tinkercad.com/" title="www.tinkercad.com">Tinkercad</a>, then printed a test piece to get the clip alignment just right. The result is now working great, and I no longer rely on the spring clip (I'm happy since I lost one and Monoprice have ignored my requests for help).
