I redesigned the leg using a sizing plate from the original design, then incorporated a micro SD to SD extension purchased from Amazon that fits perfectly into the mount. I created this modification in Tinkercad, and placing the SD card on top of the machine makes it significantly easier for me to access. Hopefully, this upgrade will be helpful to others; feel free to comment with any feedback or suggestions.
