MP Mini Delta Base Position Jig
thingiverse
This jig serves as a base position setup for the Monoprice Mini Delta and a specific type of 4.7" beveled mirrors obtained from Michael's. It is designed to be rendered three times, with each jig positioned between an axis arm and the build plate, never touching the build plate. Mirrors placed between the jigs automatically slide into place, centered over the build plate. After some experimentation, I found that I prefer using mirrors and glue for creating prints with my Mini Delta. Achieving the mirror's correct position every time has proven a challenging task. This jig ensures the mirror is perfectly centered on my base plate each time. This project utilizes the 4.75" round beveled mirror [available at Michael's:](https://www.michaels.com/beveled-round-mirror-by-artminds/10313179.html) I remove the rubber feet from the bottoms and replace them with poster putty to keep the mirror closer to the base plate and securely affixed during printing. Using poster putty to fix the jigs to the build floor is highly recommended.
