The MP412 REX is a Russian double-action .357 magnum revolver featuring break-action chamber and automatic ejector, crafted by IZHMECH, the state-owned Russian Izhevsk Mechanical Plant. Its design was targeted for export market under "REX" moniker, yet due to insufficient demand it didn't proceed to full production. This plant is also responsible for designing and manufacturing of Makarov PM semi-automatic pistol.
