Moxon UHF antenna frame
thingiverse
After spending far too much time fussing over a Moxon frame and not enough time perfecting its tune, I made up my mind to create a new frame in openscad from scratch. The UHF Moxon's specs stretched beyond the limits of what a 200mm printer can handle, so I came up with a design that splits the job into two parts - one part can be interlocked and held together using fasteners. There's certainly room for improvement here, but I'm confident others will take the reins and do their thing once this design is out the door. As for me, I deliberately kept the mounting paddle fairly simple because I figured it would probably need some tweaks from the people who follow in my footsteps. Instructions The moxon4.scad file serves up one of three parts depending on what you decide to assign to the PartIndex variable - setting it to 1 conjures up the left panel, setting it to 2 gives you the right panel, and setting it to 3 whips up a mounting paddle.
