This model presents the regolito and its respective movement of mass. Data collected: 06/11/15. Location: "Morro da Lagoa," in the hydrographic basin of Itacorubi River, central area of Santa Catarina Island, Florianopolis, Santa Catarina. Tamazzoli et al (2014) describes the matrix rock as follows: "Granitic rock with light gray or pink color, usually with potassium feldspar phenocrysts over fine or medium-grained matrix. It often associates with volcanic rocks of the Cambirela suite or Ilha granite, in the form of enclaves in the former or intrusive granitic veins in the latter. They can also form larger intrusive bodies." There are also in the same region Basic Dike "Diabásios dark color, afíricos, afaníticos fine, medium or thick faneríticos. Terms of coarser grain occur at the center of thicker dikes and may be classified as gabros. Forming dikes with varying thicknesses, possibly reaching locally up to 200 meters."
