Movie prop Blade Trinity Glaive
thingiverse
I'm excited to share another movie prop I created, and I hope you enjoy Blade Trinity Glaive. This model is broken down into two parts, simply glue them together with some sand and paint for a unique finish. Print Settings: Printer: Da Vinci 1.0 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 2mm Infill: 50% Design Process: I started by downloading a picture of the prop and modeling it in Hexagon 3D. For the Vamp symbol, I found an image online and imported it into Inkscape where I created a path, saved it as an SVG file, and then imported that into Blender for extrusion. After exporting the model again to OBJ format, I brought it back into Hexagon 3D where I performed a Boolean extract using the Vamp symbol.
