Movement Dial trays for 2.0
thingiverse
I loved the Star Wars X-Wing (2.0) Movement Dial Holder by HornetAirsoft, but its size wasn't compatible with my storage system. I utilize foam trays from BattleFoam measuring 12" by 15.5", and also create custom trays out of hardboard to fit neatly in my transport case. To optimize the dial holder's functionality, I made modifications to accommodate more dials while minimizing filament usage through reduced sides. This tray measures 11.5" by 5.25" and can hold up to 108 dials. Recognizing that not everyone has access to a large printer, I decided to split it in half for easier printing and gluing together. To bond the Inland PLA+, I used Plastruct Bondene with impressive results. The labels are simply cardstock, printed with 51mm square boxes and 12-point type for clarity.
