I mixed up a Moai sculpture from Thingaverse with a customized mustache that I had created for another project. The mustache is crafted specifically to be printed with the bottom edge aligned perfectly with the build plate, ensuring easy addition of support as needed. Support blocks were strategically placed within the slots to provide stability, yet they have enough clearance to make removal effortless once printing is complete. This carefully chosen orientation was used to maximize the strength of the collapsible pin, which requires a decent amount of force to successfully press into place. Once securely locked in position, the mustache can rotate freely without restriction.
