(moved) SteadyCam Mark II
thingiverse
This design has been relocated to YouMagine at https://www.youmagine.com/designs/steadycam-mark-ii for future updates. The reasons behind this move are outlined in the blog post http://marcuswolschon.blogspot.de/2014/01/leaving-thingiverse.html. Notable changes from Mark I include a handle positioned below the gimbal assembly, offset to align with the center of gravity, and free movement for yaw thanks to two 608 ball bearings. The side-handle attachment remains compatible with Gimbal Mark I. For upgrades, simply replace "grip_v07" with "grip_v08"+"handle_v08", while "inner" and "outer" remain unchanged. Detailed instructions, version history, and assembly guidelines can be found at https://sourceforge.net/userapps/mediawiki/marcuswolschon/index.php?title=Projects/Camera/Steadycam#Gimbal_Mark_II.
