The designer wanted to create a wider stand due to the tendency of headphone cables pulling tablets to one side and also desired a second viewing angle for use in narrow spaces, such as train or airplane tables. To achieve these goals, a parametric stand was developed, allowing for customization of various parameters, including total width, total length, total height, front angle, back angle, thickness in front of the screen, and tablet slot thickness. Long and short versions of the stand are provided as attachments to cater to different requirements.
