Mouvement échappement Spiral ech 1/2 - Spiral escapement ech 1/2
thingiverse
Reproduction to scale 1/2 of the classic spiral escapement movement already edited. It's not a clock, it's a decorative object, made to visualize the operation. The operation is working okay, but I don't recommend running it continuously, as the materials aren't hard enough. I preferred using brass axles, 2 mm brass tube and 1.4 mm axle from the market, which will have to be adjusted carefully. Be sure to pay attention to mounting the pallets on anchor, adjusting the depth if necessary. Follow the assembly photos for guidance. Spring adjustment is essential to get the ankle plate vertical. Check out the photo of spring adjustment for more details. I made a counterweight using steel tube filled with lead. The weight should be around 500 to 600 grams. This object is fun and educational, allowing you to understand how a watch works. However, you'll need some tinkering skills to assemble it correctly, using sandpaper and a file. I wanted to test the operation at 1/2 scale. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2
