Human: I'm making a reproduction at 1/2 scale of the classic spiral escapement movement that's already been edited. It's not a clock, it's a decorative object, meant to visualize the operation. The operation works fine, but I wouldn't recommend running it constantly, as the materials aren't hard enough.I opted for brass axles instead, using 2 mm brass tube and a 1.4 mm axle from the market that will need to be adjusted.Be careful when mounting the pallets on the anchor, adjust the depth if necessary.Follow the assembly photos. The spring adjustment should have the ankle plate vertical, see the photo for reference.I made a counterweight using a steel tube filled with lead, and it should weigh around 500 to 600 grams. This is a fun object that helps understand how a watch works. You'll need to be a bit handy to assemble it, use sandpaper and a file if needed.I wanted to test the operation at a 1/2 scale NOP21.
