Mouse vented (a new look)
thingiverse
"You can't change reality by resisting it. To truly transform something, create a new paradigm that makes the old one obsolete." Buckminster Fuller's wisdom echoes through this experimental design phase of bionic engineering. I caution against printing this version (available as a zip STL file), as it may be cumbersome due to its size and processing requirements. For more information on the CAD format and full STL file, visit https://grabcad.com/library/mouse-vented-a-new-look-1. The rapid evolution of additive manufacturing necessitates innovative redesigns across various industries. This project aims to revolutionize gaming by ensuring gamers' hands remain dry through improved air circulation between their palms and mice. The case features two walls: a mesh panel for airflow and a solid panel to safeguard the electronics. The mesh panel can be easily removed and cleaned, enhancing user experience. The design workflow involves Inventor (initial geometry), IGES export, Rhino modeling, Grasshopper's Cytosceleton algorithm, mesh baking, T-spline conversion in Rhino, and finalizing with Inventor. Your feedback is welcome!
