To use a micro switch from an old computer mouse as a touch sensor for a robot, start by preparing a bracket. This bracket will serve as the foundation for mounting the microswitch on your robot. A metal axis, such as one made from a paper clip, is ideal for attaching the bracket to the microswitch. To extend the sensitivity of the sensor area, insert a piece of steel into the bottom hole of the bracket. For example, you can use the remaining portion of the paper clip.
