The Mouse Manipulator 2.0 is engineered for seamless connection and detachment to a standard computer mouse. This innovative model enables control over both left and right mouse buttons as well as the scroll wheel, enhancing computer usability and functionality. To move the cursor, simply slide the device on a flat surface in the desired direction, similar to an independent mouse. Activating the left mouse button involves a quick press on the prosthetic limb, while the right button requires an upward pull. A double-click is achieved by repeating either action twice rapidly, supporting common "click-and-drag" operations. The scroll wheel can be manipulated using the scroll wheel actuator, flexible drive line, and a new foot-operated roller (not included in previous design). This upgraded version boasts several enhancements: 1) an easy-to-use "clothespin" mechanism for attaching to the mouse, 2) a quick-release pin for effortless disconnection, and 3) a refined design that is aesthetically pleasing, reduces components by over half, and facilitates 3D printing.
