This is a complete kit for building a 1:1 scale MSE-6 Mouse Droid, designed to fit on a Traxxas Bandit chassis. I've combined and customized files from multiple sources, plus created new ones from scratch, to ensure this kit works seamlessly. This build is intended as a one-stop solution for creating a Mouse Droid using a Traxxas Bandit frame. To assemble the droid, print 52 copies of the clip file and glue them together without needing clamps or magnets. I use PLA+ on my Prusa MK3 printer and epoxy to bond the prints. Remove the four screws from your Traxxas Bandit chassis that match the cross-bar locations, slide your ESC aside, insert this kit into place, and secure it using 4 x M3 35mm wood screws. The front bumper, upper greeblies, and side circuit boards are designed to be removable. Attach them using wingnuts through matching holes in your mouse droid shell, allowing you to replace parts if they get damaged. Print 4 copies of the greeblie plate, using two on the inside and two on the outside. Print the tires with a flexible filament like NinjaFlex TPU. Apply glue stick to your bed before printing and clean thoroughly between prints with isopropyl alcohol. Optionally, print the cradle for an MR2200 Aker speaker with support bars that screw into the chassis cross-bars. Load a Mouse Droid sound loop onto an SD card, insert it into your Aker, and play it back. Here's a shopping list of extra materials you'll need: - 2 x M5 30mm hex/allen key bolts (bumper) - 2 x M5 washers (bumper) - 2 x M5 wingnuts (bumper) - 4 x M3 40mm hex/allen key bolts (upper greeblies) - 8 x M3 20mm hex/allen key bolts (side circuit boards) - 12 x M3 wingnuts (upper greeblies / side circuit boards) - 12 x M3 washers (upper greeblies / side circuit boards) - 4 x M3 35 long wood screws (Traxxas frame) - 4 x M3 20mm thumb screws (Aker cradle) I'll come back to update and correct any errors as I finish my build.
