Mouse Controlled Mouse Controller
thingiverse
I'm excited to share my creation with you. This machine has a clear purpose - it's designed to excel in the Macrofab design contest. I saw this as an opportunity to push boundaries and learn new skills that have fascinated me for a while now. My mouse controller is a unique device consisting of a mouse connected directly to a Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi translates the mouse's position into G-code commands using a Python script, which are then sent through USB to an Arduino. The Arduino is programmed with GRBL and paired with a CNC controller shield. This setup drives three stepper motors that power a 3D printed and laser cut XY gantry, allowing it to move the mouse around.
