mouse bungie cable holder
thingiverse
I drilled a hole into my desk because I wanted to keep my cables organized and achieve a clean desktop appearance. However, the mouse cable was constantly rubbing against the wood, causing my mouse to move erratically and making it a frustrating experience. So, I recalled a product called Mouse Bungie and decided to create my own version. To secure it to your desk: 1. You can drill a screw from underneath the table into the Mouse Bungie (or from above). 2. Alternatively, you can insert an additional block into the Mouse Bungie (which fits snugly depending on your printer model), then use hot glue to fasten it in place through the cable hole. Make sure your cable hole is sized to match a standard USB connector. You'll need one 4mm screw and nut to assemble everything properly! One final note: be cautious when removing supports from the rubber band holder, as excessive force can cause it to break. I learned this the hard way and had to resort to using cable ties instead.
