Creating Replacement Parts for My DIY Prusa Printer I took on the task of crafting new components for my do-it-yourself (DIY) Prusa printer. The freshly printed parts were manufactured using ABS plastic with a layer thickness of 0.3 millimeters and an infill percentage of 20%. This upgrade significantly improved the overall quality compared to my previous prints. While these new parts are functional, I am considering making some adjustments to enhance their usability as well as their aesthetic appeal. The current design meets the minimum requirements but could benefit from further refinement. Instructions for Optimizing Print Quality 1. Ensure a moderate infill percentage of 20% for optimal balance between strength and weight. 2. Utilize a layer thickness of 0.3 millimeters to achieve a smooth finish and accurate details. 3. Employ the Cura slicer software to efficiently process print jobs and obtain precise results.
