Mounting Stubs to Fit Trek 7.3 Fx Bicycle (Bontrager Blendr Stem)
thingiverse
I've recently acquired a Trek 7.3 FX bike, which features a Bontrager handlebar equipped with a mounting bracket that's been sitting idle so far due to the lack of compatible accessories. The CATEYE stub created by Simonparish provided some inspiration, but it turned out to be too small for the Bontrager system. My own version may not have the same sleek appearance as his, but it serves its purpose. The flat version was specifically designed to adhere to the back of an iPhone case, while also incorporating a slot for attaching Velcro or Zip ties to enhance versatility. Additionally, I created a model with a curved surface (25mm diameter) that's ideal for mounting cylindrical objects like flashlights. If you don't have access to a Bontrager Blendr mounting system, you can download the alternative design I uploaded to http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1502652, which was created for my husband's bike to ensure he could also use these mounts. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 20% Notes: The prints slide in easily and fit snugly without any wobble, thanks to the specified settings. I opted for ABS for its strength and durability; Nylon would also be a suitable choice.
