I need to secure a small router against a wooden entertainment center without causing damage. I opted not to drill or screw into it, so I created these standoffs to attach with hot glue instead. To assemble, place the standoffs in the slotted holes of your device and position as desired. Apply hot glue to the back of the standoffs, press firmly into place, and hold for 30 seconds. Now you have a removable mount for your gadget that won't leave marks or punctures on the surface. This method should work with any flat surface, as long as the hot glue adheres properly.
