Mounting Plates for Mando Jetpack
thingiverse
This is a custom armor backplate designed to securely mount the Boba Fett Jetpack to your back. The jetpack can be found at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3095848. For those looking for clone wars rockets, they are available at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3605548. The picture shows just the left side of the black installed piece, giving you a clear view of how it fits in place. This backplate is specifically designed to fit through a 160mm diameter neck opening. After conducting tests on larger individuals, I plan to work on a V6 revision with slightly deeper shoulders to ensure a better fit for adults. The current posted V5 versions have been found to fit a 16-year-old teenager comfortably. If you're interested in modifying the backplate yourself, I will provide Fusion 360 files for your convenience. To achieve an accurate scale, use the jetpack and rockets as references, scaling them 1:1. I print my armor backplates with a 10% gyroid infill using PETG material, orienting the part with the neck hole facing downwards. Supports are placed on the build plate, and a 5mm brim is added for stability. The result is a lightweight yet strong design that fits comfortably on most build plates.
