I designed these clamps to be identical in every way to the mounting kit included with the Regalo 2-in-1 Extra Wide Stairway and Hallway Walk Through Baby Safety Gate with Mounting Kit found on Amazon. This design allows you to print the latch in whatever direction you need your baby gate to open, giving you ultimate flexibility. If you ever need to change the opening direction of the gate, simply load the file into Cura, click the mirror feature, and flip the gate to the desired orientation. You'll still require the spring screw and washer from the original mounting kit, but these can be easily transferred to the 3D printed version with minimal fuss. When printed at 100% infill, this latch is incredibly strong and reliable. If you notice that the latch doesn't move as smoothly as the original, try adding a few drops of olive oil or some PAM spray to the contact points - it's a simple trick that will help keep everything running like clockwork.
