This mounting bracket is designed for attaching the SainSmart Megatronics LCD12864 to Mendel-style printers such as the Mendel-Style printer (M8 threaded-rod frame) and the Mendelmax printer, among others. For Mendel printers, print the three parts: Holder (suitable for M8 hex head screw or cylinder head screw), Nutholder, and End (appropriate for M3 hex head screw or cylinder head screw). Purchase these Vitamins/additional parts for assembly: 1 M8 x 120 cylinder head screw (or standard hex head cap screw with washer); 1 M8 nut; 1 M8 spring washer; 2 M3 x 20 cylinder head screws (or M3 x 25 with a philips machine head); and 2 M3 nuts. Assemble the parts as follows: insert the M8 screw into the holder, add the spring washer to the threaded end of the screw, place the M8 nut and M3 nuts in their specific holes within the Nut holder part, connect the mounting and Nut holder with the M8 screw, position the End part on the other side of the threaded rod, fasten with two M3 screws, and finally tighten the M8 screw to adjust the display angle by hand. For Mendelmax printers, print two parts: Holder (suitable for M8 hex head screw or cylinder head screw) and Nutholder for Mendelmax. Purchase these Vitamins/additional parts: 1 M8 x 120 cylinder head screw (or standard hex head cap screw with washer); 1 M8 nut; 1 M8 spring washer; 2 M5 x 16 cylinder head screws; 2 M5 washers; and 2 M5 T-Slot nuts. Assemble the parts by placing the M8 screw into the holder, adding the spring washer to the threaded end of the screw, connecting the mounting and Nut holder with the M8 screw, and attaching the Nut holder to the printer frame using 2x M5 screws and T-Slot nuts. Lastly, tighten the M8 screw to adjust the display angle by hand.
