Mounting Bracket for Scuba Dive Camera Light

Mounting Bracket for Scuba Dive Camera Light

I want two custom mounting brackets for my heavy-duty dive light to fit securely onto my Nimar dive case. I need one bracket to attach directly to the dive case, allowing me to use the light as a focusing beam while also making space for two additional strobe lights mounted on flexible arms. The second bracket will have a similar design but with the ability to bolt directly into a flex arm, providing even more flexibility in my lighting setup. This straightforward design was created using SketchUp and can easily be adapted to hold any other dive light I choose to use. To secure these brackets to my dive case, I'm going to utilize 1/4" x 4" screws with wing nuts from Home Depot. For added strength, I'll print them on their sides as needed. I'm excited to share an update soon after I've tested the brackets underwater. Printer Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Rafting Requirements: No need for rafting or supports with this design. Print Resolution: I'll set my printer to a resolution of 0.3 mm. Infill Density: For added lightness and strength, I'll choose an infill density of 25%. Notes: I will print these brackets in ABS using my heavily modified Robo 3D Beta.
