This is a 100% form and function replacement for the clear plastic mounting brackets supplied with Amazon's B01DM7GBIM. The bracket screws into a surface like under a cabinet, holding LED strip lights securely in place. The aluminum channel snaps effortlessly into this bracket, directing the lights at a precise 45-degree angle relative to the mounting surface. I made significant improvements to this design on October 2, 2017. After six months of thorough testing, I encountered issues with one of my LED strip channels popping out of the original clips. To resolve this problem, I enhanced the clip's security features. I sharpened the nibs at both ends of the clip and deepened the channel to secure the strip more effectively. As a result, I retired the old model and introduced this upgraded design.
