Minimalist display brackets securely fasten the driver PCB to the display panel, preventing flat flex cables from tearing out accidentally and damaging components in the process. A special bracket designed for the 8" HDMI/DVI/VGA/CVBS LCD display from Pollin electronic helps prevent damage. To print instructions, place the bracket on its side to avoid overhang areas and filament ripples. You will need to print the bracket twice. Use an M3 tap to create a thread in the holes (2.5 mm in diameter). The little holder-hook-thingies that hold onto the LCD must fit snugly but not too tightly, since excessive pressure could damage the module. To achieve this, I used a knife to tweak the fit. A possible solution is enlarging the width of the hooks to distribute pressure more evenly and reduce mechanical stress. Printer: Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% I designed this using 123D Design.
