Mounting things correctly can make all the difference. A specific kit allows one to attach an Arduino Uno and a breadboard to a sturdy Acrylic sheet. There are several holes at the bottom for securing the Uno and more along the edges for extra support. To add some extra space and increase the overall base, I came up with this straightforward design. https://www.adafruit.com/products/275 I elevated it using a few high-quality brass spacers with 3mm threading. These work wonderfully and can be found in my regular inventory: http://amzn.com/B018C19KJ0 Once that was done, I attached the plate, spacers, and brackets to the wall securely using a few wooden screws.
