Its hole measures 7.5 mm, but you can easily scale it up if needed. To prevent layer de-lamination when mounting on the wall with self-tapping screws, I added a special WasherHill feature. This design is straightforward and does exactly what it's supposed to do - work well and be sturdy. It meets my specific needs perfectly.
