The base clamp sits snugly on top of your deck and features truck bolts that pass right through it. The C clamp secures the flashlight firmly in place using small screws and a press-fit nut on the base clamp. The flashlight is carefully angled 37 degrees away from parallel with the deck face. This is because the nose and tail of the Trampa HS11 and Holypro decks are tilted 35 degrees upwards, resulting in flashlights that point 2 degrees downwards towards the road.
