Mountain Board MBS Trampa Concave Wing

Mountain Board MBS Trampa Concave Wing

This is a remix of another wing that was very useful. I just cut the end off, extruded it, and put another end back on. Any drop in quality (I only used the 3d builder tool at the time) underneath just helps the epoxy grip, and on top is covered by the grip tape. I've done a few prints of these that work well on MBS and Trampa decks. I extrude the overhang bit to the thickness of the deck, minus 1 or 2 mm so they don't get pushed upwards if I rest the deck on the board rack or anything else. If they did get knocked off upwards you can re-glue them easily, but with the weight of a person on they've never been knocked off. For me they print best flat with a big block of support, but you can print them upright to save a bit of filament and time. I print 100% infill TPU for flex along the length of the deck, but they're solid to apply pressure to. 225°C nozzle, 55°C bed. You can tape them on to get a feel for how you want them positioned first - I offset mine. I rough up the deck a bit and use standard epoxy to stick them on, with a load of clamps, including one across the deck to hold it tight against the side. I use a crisp packet to stop the epoxy sticking to the stuff on top, and a bit of stiff foam or folded cardboard on top to spread the pressure across it. For grip tape I make a little slot just around the edges, to shape it around them - as you see in the photos.
