Mountain Bike MTB Mudguard
thingiverse
There are plenty of DIY sketches online that can guide you in making your own MTB mudguard, but why go to all the trouble of tracing, cutting, and punching holes? This model is designed to be printed at 0.28mm or 0.3mm resolution and stands exactly three layers thick, which provides strength while still allowing for flexibility. There are versions available with and without a Specialized logo; I recommend making color changes for the last logo layer. UPDATE 8/16/2017: Version 2 features updated geometry after attaching the prototype to my bike. UPDATE 9/4/2018: A version from Gordon (Edicius Tasf) has been added to the collection on YouTube. **NOTE:** If you would like a version with your favorite logo, just let me know and I will create one for you. **INSTALLATION:** Check out this video on how to install it on your bike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rXTV8fxGfo UPDATE 10/12/2018: A version of the mudguard for the rear tire has been added.
