Mountain Bike Linkage Bearing Press
thingiverse
Time to replace your linkage bearings? Don't want to spend a minimum of $40 on a bearing press? Just print 2 of these handles, pick up some 1/4"-20 nuts, a 1/4"-20 threaded rod, and select the appropriate press size from my library and print 2 of each (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6307997) to make your own for about $6.Assembly:While printing the handles, pause the print before the last layer around the void for the 1/4" nut and insert both nuts into the handles. Resume the print and let it finish. I would recommend ironing the top surface to get a perfectly flat pressing surface. Next, print out the selected bearing sizes and then assemble everything as shown in the picture. For all parts, I recommend a rigid material like PLA and a very high/solid infill to avoid deflection in the pieces.
