This is a custom-made controller for a cable-activated dropper seatpost on a high-performance mountain bike. The device consists of two main components: a handlebar clamp that slides over the end of the handlebar and secures in place with a bolt and nut, and a trigger assembly attached to the clamp - I utilized a piece of durable plastic tubing as the axle for the trigger, although a screw could serve equally well. This remote is engineered to be highly resilient, but it's not immune to damage from severe impacts, like any bike component. Fortunately, you can easily print a replacement in case of an accident or wear and tear.
