Mountable 3-Axis Brushless Gimbal for GoPro Style Camera
thingiverse
I added a GoPro-style mounting containing 3 STL-files. The GoProStyle_Schuh_ZMR250.stl is bolted to the bottom plate of the ZMR-frame, while the other two are bolted together and replace the Storm32 plate. This is a 3-axis brushless gimbal frame for a GoPro style camera that can pan +/-360° (depending on your wiring). I had components for a 3-axis gimbal at home for a while but when I saw a video taken with a 3-axis brushless gimbal on a ZMR250, I knew I had to build mine and stick it onto my ZMR250. The motors used are: Pan: RcTimer 2804 Hollowshaft Brushless Gimbal Motor Roll: Turnigy HD 2212 Brushless Gimbal Motor Roll (alternative): DYS BGM2208 70T Brushless Gimbal Motor (short shaft) Pitch: DYS BGM2208 70T Brushless Gimbal Motor (short shaft) I recommend getting the DYS for both pitch and roll. The controller used is Storm32 BGC. I only had an I2C IMU module, so I used that and routed the cable away from the motor wires. Damping Balls: I had 65g damping balls at home, so I designed it for those (8 pieces). The camera housing is designed for an Andoer C5 Pro (https://goo.gl/images/gn2LkZ). If you put it onto a ZMR250, you can print the landing legs as well. They just clip into the bottom plate and provide enough ground clearance for the gimbal. Here are some videos taken with this gimbal mounted to my ZMR250: https://youtu.be/8__Qv2TvpwU https://youtu.be/SWOXpwubFVY
