Mount McLoughlin - Oregon

Mount McLoughlin in Oregon's Siskiyou National Forest is represented at 1 arcsecond resolution using Space Shuttle SRTM data. This revised edition supersedes an earlier version that employed 3 arcsecond data. This updated map is based on a new, as yet unpublished version of the SRTM2STL tool. Source code for creating files with 3 arcsecond precision is accessible on github under the GNU license. To locate this code, visit github and search for SRTM2STL. I intend to release the upgraded software as soon as any glitches are ironed out. You might consider printing this map at a relatively small size. Printing large Raised Relief Maps using PLA often results in warping. Some success with big maps has been experienced. If you can manage warping, your luck may improve with bigger maps as well.
