# Update! This new version has fingers that are thinner than the previous version, with a reduction of 0.02 inches in thickness. The result is improved meshing between the fingers of this camera mount and those of a tripod without requiring vigorous sanding. I have not yet tested the new design, so I welcome your feedback. --- This is a custom-designed camera mount created in Fusion 360 for use with a Sony Vaio laptop camera (model 93010gu00-515-g). If you purchase or salvage this camera from a laptop, you can connect it to your computer via USB as described in the DIY Perks YouTube video. The camera mount attaches securely to a mini tripod designed specifically for GoPro cameras. I would like to thank krakow_marcin for creating that design on Thingiverse.
