This is a custom-made mounting block designed specifically for Siplace pick and place machine S-style tape feeders. It's intended for use on an OpenPnP-based machine (www.openpnp.org). The default configuration calls for 10x2mm round magnets to be attached using glue. So far, testing has been limited to 8x1mm magnets, which were found to be quite weak in holding the feeder firmly in place. Users can easily adjust settings to accommodate different magnet sizes, feeder slot quantities, and mounting screw dimensions.
