Update: works seamlessly with two M5x50 hex bolts, but you might prefer an easier way to tighten the screws; repurposed GoPro tightening parts are incredibly convenient and durable, using all M5 bolts - I added some hollow shape to modify the inside density of the part. That's a remix of the Samyang 135mm F2 Tripod Bracket (Stativschelle) by user nurv. I needed a mount that could be used on my Star Adventurer. It's designed to receive: A "Standard 1/4"-20 Female to 3/8"-16 Male Screw Adapter" - available at https://www.amazon.com/Standard-Adapter-Converter-Camcorder-Ballhead/dp/B07567PHSZ/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=tripod+converter+1%2F4+3%2F8&qid=1563632268&s=gateway&sr=8-13 Two M5x50 screws and an M5 hex nut are required. To assemble, use a ¼" threaded rod and a lighter to heat the nut until it's pliable; then weld it into place. Once welded, submerge the part in cold water to freeze the plastic. You may want to practice this on a mock-up before attempting it with the real thing.
