This is a custom mount for a Rove R2-4D Dash Cam. To free up the USB port, we've mounted a GPS unit on top of the dashboard, so I decided to eliminate the need for a separate cable powering our new dash cam. The base mount rests firmly on a sticky gel pad and the swivel unit that comes with the dash cam fits snugly into the base mount. The camera mount inserts easily into the top of the base mount and the camera slides smoothly into the camera mount. All buttons remain accessible while the camera is securely in its mount. A USB splitter provides power to both the GPS and the dash cam.
