Mount for RC-thoughts's Warm TX heaters
thingiverse
We Finns fly year-round, no matter how chilly it gets. With a transmitter mitt, you can soar through -10C frost with ease. But when temperatures plummet below -20C, additional heating is necessary. Luckily, RC-Thoughts has developed the Warm TX heater, a brilliant invention that's a game-changer for winter flying. Unfortunately, there wasn't an ideal mount available, so I designed one in just one night. Here it is! Enjoy! Check out this video to see it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki-cgoU48hM To print the base box, use a robust filament like PLA, ABS, or nylon. However, for the heating pads, hard TPU like 98A is recommended. The clipping swivel mount is designed specifically for 5mm handles or supports.
