Mount for optical distance sensor

Mount for optical distance sensor

This is a mount for the Sharp GP2Y0A710K0F, a Distance Measuring Sensor Unit that can detect distances between 100 to 550 cm with a non-linear analog output. A normal quality print takes about one hour using just over 1m of PLA on an Ultimaker2, and it can swing 160 degrees. The datasheet is available at http://www.sharpsma.com/webfm_send/1490. The sensor produces the largest output in its family but has a noisy signal, so I used Jeroen's excellent Median filter to reduce noise from the Arduino-signal-filtering-library, which can be found at http://jeroendoggen.github.io/. Finding the correct voltage-to-cm formula was frustrating, but after graphing output numbers in Excel, I ended up with this code for Arduino: http://codepad.org/HwjquVmC
