Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan is home to the Khaibullinsky District, where archaeologists discovered a significant find in Kurgan Yakovlevka-II. Burial number 7 yielded a crucial artifact - bone with a thread attached. The purpose of this thread remains uncertain, but it might have been intended for holding something specific, such as a torch used for cooking or lighting. This discovery sheds light on the culture of the Early Sarmatians, dating back to the IV century BC.
