Mount for David Crocker's Mini Differential IR height sensing board
thingiverse
This is a WIP. I could not find a suitable mount for the H2 Light extruder and the BTT Hermit Crab that worked so I designed this one to mount between the fan and the extruder on the left side. I will add pictures when I get it where I want it. The fan is 34mm by 34mm mounted with 3mm screws, The mini board mounts using the two slots below the fan. The slots allow for adjustment of the probe because it needs to be mounted between one and two mm above the tip of your nozzle and depending on your setup that can vary quite a bit. Information about how to configure firmware for this probe is available from the creator on his wiki: https://miscsolutions.wordpress.com/mini-height-sensor-board/ Amazon sells a version of this device for about half the price. I have tried both of them and the amazon version did not work for me. David's version worked perfectly and I have not had any issues in close to a year so far. I purchased mine from 3DMakerWorld via their webshop @ https://3dmakerworld.com/collections/duet3d/products/duet3d-ir-probe
